Development, Operation and Maintenance of Philippine Seismic Network (PSN)
Contract Duration:
May – June 2023 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)
Job description:
■ Installation of four (4) seismic stations
■ Repair and maintenance of established seismic stations
■ Survey of candidate sites for seismic stations
■ Maintenance of JICA JMA-type intensity meters and its transmission equipment (36 stations)
■ Data processing and augmentation of DRC personnel on duty
■ Performs other tasks that may be assigned
○ Educational background
■ Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics or any related courses are encouraged to apply
○ Required skills and qualities
■ Knowledgeable in instrumentation, computer networking and/or basic computer programming
