June – December 2023 (can be renewed if performance is at least satisfactory)

Monthly Salary: P 45,780.00

Job Description:
 Conducts land cover classification using RS/AI
 Assist the Senior Science Research Specialist in risk calculation
 Assist the Senior Science Research Specialist in formulating land use plans for stakeholders
 Writes reports, procedures and publishable papers
 Translate generated outputs into LGU plans for stakeholder
 Implements project activities and work plans
 Oversees Science Research Specialist I under the project
 Presents results in written and oral manner
 Performs other tasks that may be assigned

Educational Background
 Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Geodetic Engineering, Environmental Science, Engineering or any Earth Science related courses are encouraged to apply

Experience/Training/Competency
 Knowledge in Land use planning (CLUP, CDRA)
 Able, willing, and fit to travel and conduct fieldworks
 Intermediate field mapping and GIS skills
 Intermediate Remote Sensing skills
 Able to communicate well with coworkers, partners, and stakeholders
 Able to manage work schedule and project activities
 With good technical writing and presentation skills
