Science Research Specialist II
Brief Description of the Position
• Assists the Information Technology Officer and Senior Science Research Specialist on data management and QA/QC of GeoRiskPH services;
• Assists in maintaining the enterprise system of GeoRiskPH;
• Leads and assist in conducting trainings and workshops of GeoRiskPH platforms;
• Assists in maintaining the GeoRiskPH databases, publishing of map services, and account creation;
• Drives advancements in creating higher-value maps and analysis for PHIVOLCS and for other agencies and organizations for related assessments;
• Assists in disseminating information and engaging with partner agencies, and other stakeholders of GeoRiskPH;
• Leads and assists in the development of training modules for GeoRiskPH platforms and other workshop materials that may be needed;
• Supports development of relevant projects for the National Exposure Database Program through GeoMapperPH and other GeoRiskPH platforms;
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in the development and maintenance of the National Exposure Database and other initiatives started by GeoRiskPH;
• Conduct fieldworks and lectures;
• Publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals;
• Perform other functions as may be assigned

• Drives advancements in creating higher-value maps and analysis for PHIVOLCS and for other agencies and organizations for related assessments; Assists the Senior Science Research Specialist in disseminating information and engaging with partner agencies for GeoRiskPH;
• Leads and assist in the development of training modules for GeoMapper and other workshop materials that may be needed platforms;
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in the development and maintenance of the National Exposure Database and other initiatives started by GeoRiskPH;
• Conduct fieldworks and lectures; Publishes papers in peer-reviewed journals;
