Brief Description of the Position
• Designs and uploads/posts materials on the official PHIVOLCS social media accounts;
• Monitors the social media, including periodic reporting of insights and significant comments regarding immediate attention / action;
• Writes press releases and articles for media, public information, and PHIVOLCS and DOST publications; Layouts the bimonthly PHIVOLCS newsletter;
• Collects PHIVOLCS-related newspaper clippings;
• Assists in the conduct of project activities and research works;
• Assists in facilitating media requests for interviews;
• Assists in preparing data/references for development of information materials (e.g. flyers, posters)
