Two (2) Project Technical Specialist I 

 

Project Name: Measurement of Velocities of Earthquake Faults (MOVE Faults) 

 

Contract of Duration:6 months

 

Educational Background:
Graduate of BS Applied Physics, Geodetic Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other related course

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Process GPS data using Bernese software
2. Participate in 2D modelling for data visualization and plotting
3. Develop programming scripts for automation of GPS data processing
4. Network management and system administration (VADASE real-time streaming, Spider software, FTP, server management)
5. Coordinates downloading of GPS data, site maintenance, and GPS campaign surveys
6. All other tasks that may be related to the performance of the above-stated duties and responsibilities

 

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/COMPETENCIES:
1. At least 1 years of experience in GPS campaign survey
2. At least 1 years of experience in GPS data downloading
3. At least 1 years of experience in GPS data processing using Bernese Software
4. At least 40 hours of training in GPS data processing using Bernese Software 5.2
5. Has working knowledge of Python, C/C++, GMT, MATLAB
