Two (2) Project Technical Aide VI
Monthly Salary: P25,453.20/month
Project Title: Coastal Assessment, Mapping, and Research of Tsunami Hazards in the Philippines (CoAsT PH)
Contract Duration: March - December 2024
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The staff will compile related literature and existing datasets for tsunami hazard modelling.
2. Pre-processing remote sensing data (LiDAR, IfSAR and aerial photos) to make them ready for tsunami modelling
3. The staff will conduct fieldwork and site survey.
4. Knowledge of GIS software to create and manipulate vector and raster files, automate routine processes and layout maps.
5. Assist in writing technical reports.6. Assist in creating technical review presentations
7. Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time
Educational Background:
- Graduate of BS Geology/ Geological Engineering
Experience/Training/Competencies:
1. Knowledge in GIS, basic CMD commands is preferred.
2. Basic knowledge in data management and Microsoft Office
3. Good technical report writing skills.
