Computer File Librarian II
Brief Description of the Position
•Assist in the management of the PHIVOLCS S&T library collections and databases.
•Processes and retrieves requested library materials.
•Recommends the selection and acquisition or subscription of materials on seismology, volcanology, disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), and other relevant resources.
•Prepares and submits monthly reports on library users.
•Collects, sorts, scans, and indexes PHIVOLCS-related newspaper clippings and online articles and reports.
•Sorts, encodes, and scans documents and significant records according to the prescribed format.
•Participates in the conduct of project activities and research works.
•Assists in the preparation of data and references for material development and dissemination.
•Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time.
