Employment status: Contract of services under ACER Project 4: Ground Shaking (GS) and Earthquake-Induced Landslide (EIL) Hazard Modeling Using Geophysics, Remote Sensing (RS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Contract Duration: February- December 2025
Monthly Salary: Php 64,648.00/month
Educational Background
- Graduate of BS Geology or related earth science courses, Physics, or Engineering
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the Program supervisor in ensuring that program outputs and goals, and other administrative requirements are achieved
- Leads the researchers in adopting, innovating, and developing methodologies, procedures and/or tools
- Manages and implements the assigned component project plan
- Lead and supervise fieldworks, collection, reduction, and integration of data, and analyze information and generate results
- Write publishable papers and finalizes project technical reports; reviews and edits the results and papers of the component project
- Coordinates and collaborates with other senior staff and other stakeholders
- Perform other tasks related to the program that may be assigned from time to time
Experience/Training/Competencies:
- With sound understanding of research topic principles and methodologies related to earthquake sources and effects
- Advanced field mapping and GIS Skills
- Able, willing, and fit to travel and conduct fieldworks
- With good technical writing and presentation skills
- Able to communicate well with coworkers, partners, and stakeholders
- Able to manage people, work schedule, and project activities
