Brief Description of the Position:
- Assist the Section Head of Seismic and Tsunami Network Operations (STNO) and the Division Chief of the Seismological Observation and Earthquake - Prediction Division (SOEPD) in timely delivery of accurate Earthquake and Tsunami Information and Warning or Advisory.
- Assist in the operations of the Philippine Seismic Network (PSN) with more emphasis in the operations and maintenance of the Philippine Tsunami Network (PTN).
- Properly coordinate with three Cluster Centers and Mirror Station, Lead in earthquake and tsunami data acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation for quick inclusion of event parameters; assist the coordination works with all the Local Government Units (LGU).
- Participate in the development of alternate system for Tsunami Early Warning System.
- Act a resource person and spokesperson when assigned.
- Other works assigned by the SOEPD Chief and STNO Section Head related to issuance and operations including external meetings and field trips to any of the stations.

Brief Description of the Position:
- Assist the Section Head of STNO and the Division Chief of SOEPD in timely delivery of accurate Earthquake and Tsunami Information and Warning or Advisory.
- Assist in the Operation and Maintenance of all the Stations of the Philippine Seismic Network (PSN) and the Philippine Tsunami Network (PTN) but more focused on the operations of General Santos Seismic Station (GSP) and the PHIVOLCS Mindanao Cluster Monitoring Center for Earthquake and Tsunami (PMCMCET).
- Properly coordinate with three Cluster Centers and Mirror Station.
- Participate in earthquake and tsunami data acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation for quick inclusion of event parameters.
- Assist the coordination works with all the Local Government Units (LGU).
