The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS) conducted the “Orientation and Knowledge Sharing (OKS): Seismotectonics for Earthquake and Tsunami Monitoring on February 11, 2022 via Zoom.  The webinar aimed to refresh and level up the understanding of its employees about earth science and seismology, especially in the field of seismotectonics.

DOST Undersecretary and PHIVOLCS OIC Dr. Renato U. Solidum, Jr. gave the opening message followed by the presentations of the resource persons and the closing message from the SOEPD OIC, Mr. Ishmael C. Narag. A total of 203 participants ̶̶ 93 females and 110 males, attended this whole day event.
